Learners explore a radio station that broadcasts talk and music radio, including:

pre recorded -
BBC Cambridge 2:44 - Interviews, Recordings of speeches.
BBC Radio 1 0:43 - into to the show.
Heart Radio Cambridge 4:10 - Adverts. news.

I think that both the production stages look appealing as they are both doing actions that are fun and active.

d) production processes

Planning stage: There is a meeting to decide what the station will broadcast and cover, this includes what music will be played, which news will be discussed, if there will be guests. the team will research the news which will be talked about on the show. The target audience will also be discussed to make sure the show gains optimal listeners.

Pre Production stage: The sequence for the running order is created for each segment. the script for both the show and the news will be drafted to make sure every bit of information is covered and make sure that the audience will find the show entertaining. if any guests are due to be on the show they will be arranged as well.

Production pre recorded: the production team will create jingles, sweepers and effects to make sure the show flows and is entertaining to listen to.

Production live: the production team will update the script to cover any braking news story's and any traffic updates. guests will be managed and update the website as to what is going on on the show. both the show and the news will be presented in this stage.

Post production: the station will create a listen again option for people who missed the show and will be able to stream it or download it to their devices or on the website.

e) market share

Between July 2017 and December 2017 a survey found out that on average BBC Radio Cambridgeshire had 91,000 listeners per week. (Age 15+)  June of 2007 had the most weekly listeners in any year. In recent years the total weekly audience chart has started to fall. In December 2017 they had the lowest amount of weekly listeners to date. This fall could be due to the platform becoming less popular to younger people.
